the visiting thing holds true for ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) dair as well, oldest friend of mine that she is.
also i wanted to say that for christmas i got: the maxi geil cd, a aqua & cream cashmere sweater, the "l'histoire de melody nelson" dvd which is toooooo sexy, and clothes & good-smelling girl things from ben's parents. my parents each just sent me a check, which doesn't do me a lot of good without a checking account. but christmas is still fun!

trying not to watch/think about the inauguration...
it is nice & snowy here, which makes me happy. if i have to put up with chicago winters, i at least like to run around with the dog in a lovely snowy park. also i think i want to go ice skating.
it has been a good week here: anniversary sushi & movies with my male companion; worked saturday & sunday until my bones ached too much to walk; came home sunday night in pain and got a) a bath drawn for me, b) delicious physical attention, c) good mexican food & margaritas, and d) trashy golden globes' watching; brunch with ben's family on monday and lazy day off; then worky worky worky until tomorrow, when i get another day off. who knows the possibilities.
i feel like such an old lady with sore knees and feet and such from work. i am thinking about going to the doctor and seeing if they can give me pills.
i want my tax refund, and i want a copy of "hunky dory" since mine is broken, and i want rosarojaroja to come visit me in the city for hijinks.
i'm a simple girl...
